Old City Philadelphia Wedding Portraits

Before the ceremony and reception, we explored Old City Philadelphia for wedding portraits. This historic neighborhood is one of the best locations for Philadelphia wedding photography, offering cobblestone streets, colonial architecture, and timeless character.

Their first look took place at Carpenters' Hall, followed by romantic portraits in the hidden greenery of the 18th Century Garden. We ended at the iconic columns of the Second Bank of the United States—a classic Old City backdrop that makes me feel like I am back in Rome.

Film Wedding Photography in Philadelphia

This wedding carried deep meaning, as Tom’s father was a photography professor at the University of the Arts. Because of this, photography was an important part of their story and legacy.

As a hybrid film wedding photographer in Philadelphia, I blend digital and film photography to create a timeless, emotional gallery. One of my favorite moments is inviting the bride to take a self-portrait in the mirror using my Yashica 120 medium format film camera. It creates a quiet, reflective pause in the day—something intentional, artistic, and deeply personal.
